Centrally located in a rural setting just minutes from Lafayette, Abbeville and New Iberia, L'Eglise is the perfect location for special events.

The classic design reflects its history as the former Mission of St. John of the Cross. After many years of neglect, it is now restored and may be rented for parties, weddings, receptions, family reunions or any special event.

Soft butter colored plaster walls, terra cotta tile floors and a soaring pine ceiling lend a European feel to the space. All lighting is controlled by dimmers to create special ambiance.

Encompassing nearly 5000 square feet, the facility can accommodate receptions for up to 400 people. An additional 6000 square feet of courtyard is also included with every rental providing a beautiful garden setting to enhance your event.
